How to get your interview at Houston Intercontinental

  1. Apply for your program at ttp.cbp.dhs.gov. The Global Entry application fee is $120 for 5 years — many travel credit cards reimburse it.
  2. Wait for conditional approval. Most applications are conditionally approved within a few weeks; you can only book an interview after that.
  3. Book the interview — at Houston Intercontinental or any other center nationwide. When everything looks booked, cancellations still open up daily: set a free alert and grab the next one.
  4. Or skip the appointment entirely with Enrollment on Arrival when landing in the US from abroad — see what to do after conditional approval.

Where to go

If coming from I-45 you will go east onto Beltway 8. You will see the airport sign. If coming from HWY 59 you will go west onto Beltway 8. You will see the airport sign. At this point just follow the airport signs into the airport. You would then follow signs directly to the airport for parking at any terminal, if you chose to park at terminal A or B, take the train to terminal E. Another option is park offsite at the paid Parking areas, and take the shuttle bus to Terminal E. When you enter Terminal E international arrivals, we are on the lower level, there will be a sign outside the Global Entry office.
